Bulacan to hold March for faith, Walk for Jesus Christ

CITY OF MALOLOS- The Provincial Government of Bulacan in cooperation with the March for Jesus Philippines and Four Pillars of Bulacan will hold the March for faith, Walk for Jesus Christ on April 12, 5:30 in the morning.

The said prayer march which will start at the Bulacan State University Activity Center and will end at the Provincial Capitol Gymnasium which is also the venue for the program, aims to inspire the Bulakenyos to pray together with one mind, one heart and one purpose for the province’s betterment.

More than 4,000 participants are expected to join the event coming from the Provincial Government, rescue groups, different religious groups, Zumba Group, Bulacan State University, Bulacan Polytechnic College and the Department of Education.

“Alam natin ang kapangyarihan ng pagdarasal, nothing can harm us kapag tayo ay nasa Panginoon kaya pinalalakas natin ito, ipinaaalam natin na tayo ay nagtatrabaho para sa lalawigan at nagdadasal para sa Bulacan,” Gov. Wilhelmino M. Sy-Alvarado said.

Different religious group leaders will lead the prayer for the Seven Point Development Agenda of Bulacan that includes Rev. Cesar Sacdalan for Alliance for Values Formation in Bulacan, Rev. Joel Lombos for CADENCE- Bulacan, Bishop Bert Chan of the Baptist Church, Fr. Gino Herrera for the Roman Catholic, Cong. Sherwin Tugna for Jesus Is Lord, Bishop Ephraim Perez for Inter-faith Bulacan and Bishop Joel Porlres for Iglesia Filipina Independiente (Aglipayan).

Meanwhile, Bishop Ted Malangen of the Jesus Christ the Deliverer will lead the victory declaration.

The PGB will also launch the Bulacan Prayer Movement which aims to have a concrete number of members that will represent the province in every activity with regard to religion and faith.

Bishop Rufino “Bernie” Malitao IV, March for Jesus National Chairman, will grace the event as the guest speaker.

After the program, the Provincial Youth, Sports, Employment, Arts, Culture and Tourism Office will hold zumba exercises which is open to all. ###
