New batch of hopefuls raring to be crowned as the new Hari at Reyna ng Singkaban 2019

CITY OF MALOLOS – Thirty-one new candidates are vying to take home the Hari at Reyna ng Singkaban 2019 titles as they compete in Hari at Reyna ng Singkaban 2019 Araw ng Koronasyon on September 14, 2019 at 6 pm to be held at The Pavilion, Hiyas ng Bulacan Convention Center in this city.

According to Dr. Eliseo dela Cruz, head of the Provincial History, Arts, Culture and Tourism Office, Bulacan continues to search for the embodiment of true youthful and beloved Bulakenyos who will serve as ambassadors of goodwill to their fellow youth especially in terms of promoting history, arts, culture and tourism programs of the province.

“Taun-taon binibigyan natin ng pagkakataon ang ating mga kabataan na ipakita hindi lang ang kanilang ganda kundi maging ‘yung kakayahan nila, because pageants are not just about flaunting beauty without flaws as everyone seemed to believe in the past. Ito ay tungkol sa pagyakap mo sa mga kakulangan mo habang nililinang ang sarili mo at maging halimbawa na gamitin ‘yung oras sa makabuluhang mga bagay,” dela Cruz said.

The event also aims to empower the youth by enhancing positive values and instill pride about the province’s culture and heritage.

From 16 queens and 15 kings, two will be crowned as Hari at Reyna ng Singkaban, two will be awarded the titles Hari at Reyna ng Turismo, one each for the Hari at Reyna ng Kasaysayan, two first runners up and two 2nd runners up.

Moreover, together with the Provincial Tourism Council of Bulacan headed by George Allan Tengco and Lloyd Arceo Events, the Provincial Government of Bulacan through PHACTO with the support of the Association of Tourism Officers of Bulacan will give special awards including Best in Formal Wear, Best in Long Gown, Best in Festival Costume, Mr. and Ms. Photogenic and Bulacan’s Choice Award.
