CITY OF MALOLOS- Since the vaccination against COVID-19 kicked off last March 8, 2021 in Bulacan, 150,073 Bulakenyos are now fully vaccinated while 335,153 received their first dose as of July 24,2021.
Out of the 772,398 combined doses of Sinovac, Astrazeneca, Pfizer and Janssen that the province has received, 485,226 total doses have been administered.
Governor Daniel R. Fernando stressed the importance of observing and practicing the minimum public health standards to further improve the record of recovered cases as of July 28, 2021 wherein the Provincial Health Office-Public Health have recorded 95% or 41,114 recoveries out of the 43,337 total verified COVID-19 cases in the province.
“Unti-unti, maaabot din natin ang herd immunity kaya huwag po tayong magsasawa sa pagsunod sa mga dapat nating gawin para makaiwas sa COVID-19,” Fernando said.
The governor also encouraged Bulakenyos to register for master listing in https://doh.gov.ph/Vaccines or to communicate with their local government units for COVID-19 vaccines.
“Kung tayo po ay bakunado, mas protektado po tayo laban sa COVID-19, mas mapoprotektahan din po natin ang mga nakapaligid sa atin,” he added.
Meanwhile, as of July 28, 2021 there are 1,297 active cases from which 170 are fresh cases, 41,114 have recovered while 926 have died.
Bulacan reverts to General Community Quarantine with heightened restrictions from August 1 to 15 after President Rodrigo Roa Duterte approved the recommendation of the Inter-Agency Task Force (IATF) for the new quarantine classifications. ###
