ISO lead auditor commends the PGB, Gov Fernando lauds employees

CITY OF MALOLOS- As the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) Lead Auditor Rolando Remitar commended the comprehensive management review of the Provincial Government of Bulacan, Gov. Daniel R. Fernando answered his gratitude by lauding all the PGB department heads, consultants and employees during the First Follow-up External Audit for the Recertification of ISO 9001:2015 held at 3rd Floor Executive Lounge, Provincial Capitol Building here.

“We are very impressed sa commitment ng top management na ituloy ang magandang serbisyong ipinagkakaloob ninyo sa taumbayan. We will try to journey with you para mas lalong ma-improve ang sistema sa Bulacan - Remitar said.

Fernando then repeatedly said, “Ipinagmamalaki ko ang lahat ng pinuno ng tanggapan, doktor, at mga kawani, talaga pong silang lahat ay nagtatrabaho ng husto. Nung iniharap namin lahat ng best practices sa CODE team na bumisita sa lalawigan, nakita naman natin how they commended our efforts to fight COVID-19. Salamat sa mahusay ninyong pagganap sa tungkulin. Nasa inyo ring mga kamay ang ikauunlad ng ating mga programa.”

Further, the governor encouraged the employees to keep on giving efficient services.

“Kahit may pandemya, ituloy natin ang epektibong paglilingkod. Kailangan ang paglilingkod laging mabilis, huwag ng pinagtatagal pa para maibigay natin sa mga mamamayan ang benepisyong para sa kanila at itong ISO ang magpapatunay na tayo ay nasa tamang direksyon. Alam natin na walang perpektong sistema kaya lagi po tayong maging bukas sa mga rekomendasyon” Fernando said.

During the meeting via Zoom, Provincial Administrator Eugenio Payongayong and Provincial Planning and Development Officer Arlene Pascual presented the People’s Agenda or the 10 priority projects, that the governor is focusing on during his administration including universal health care, quality education, vibrant local economy and jobs for every Bulakenyo, inclusive agricultural growth, caring for the poor and marginalized, relevant and resilient infrastructure, booming tourism and preservation of cultural heritage, resilient nature and clean environment, peace, order and security, and good and responsive governance.

They also shared some of the efforts including the infrastructures and facilities constructed and allotted in response to COVID-19.

After this, the online audit proper began that will last until September, 2020.

The ISO 9001:2015 certification is for the “Provision of Public Service to the Constituents of Bulacan”

Also present in the meeting were Mr. Bong Capili, auditor; Jennifer de Leon, consultant; Provincial Information and Technology Officer Rhealiza Valerio; Provincial Social Welfare and Development Officer Rowena Joson-Tiongson; Provincial Human Resource and Management Officer Cynthia Abiol; and Provincial Budget Officer Francis de Guzman.###
