PPAO chief elected as chairman of PAGPTD anew

ACCEPTANCE SPEECH OF RE-ELECTED CHAIRWOMAN. Provincial Information Officer Maricel S. Cruz of the Provincial Public Affairs Office - Provincial Government of Bulacan thanks her colleagues for the support, trust and confidence in voting her anew as the chairwoman of the Provincial Advisory Group on Police Transformation and Development (PAGPTD) held during the "Espesyal na Pagpupulong: Election of Officers" held at the Post Conference Room, Camp General Alejo S. CITY OF MALOLOS - Provincial Information Officer Maricel S. Cruz has been re-elected as Chairwoman of the Provincial Advisory Group on Police Transformation and Development (PAGPTD) during the "Espesyal na Pagpupulong: Election of Officers" held at Camp General Alejo S. Santos, Capitol Compound in this city recently.

As chairwoman of PAGPTD to be known as Advisory Group, besides the overall responsibilities delegated by the said group, her functions include presiding over Advisory Group meetings including determining, setting, discussing and addressing of the meeting's agenda; overseeing the group's policy-development process; coordinating the Advisory Group's interests with the PNP's governing body which is Command Group; and representing the Advisory Group at functions and proceedings.

The Philippine National Police has organized and institutionalized the PAGPTD to fully implement its plans, programs and activities
Cruz said that it is her pleasure to be a part of an organization that aims to continuously support the effective implementation of PNP P.A.T.R.O.L. Plan 2030 (Peace and order Agenda for Transformation and upholding of the Rule of Law).

She was also awarded the Gold Eagle Award by the Bulacan PPO due to her invaluable contribution as PAC chairman last 2019.

"Thank you for the trust and confidence. I will always be committed to this organization and help in ways possible to attain the PNP's vision towards rendering a highly capable, effective and credible police service," Cruz said.

For many years, Cruz has been the chairperson of the Provincial Advisory Council.

She is also the incumbent Provincial Information Officer of the Provincial Public Affairs Office, which is the communication arm of the Provincial Government of Bulacan.

Moreover, she is also one of the advisers of the association of Information Officers of Bulacan or InfoBul and Vice President of the Confederation of Department of Education Bulacan Parents-Teachers Association (PTA) for SY 2018-2019 among others.

Also, Assistant Regional Director Atty. Arlene Castro-Co of NAPOLCOM-Region 3 has won as Vice Chairwoman.
