CITY OF MALOLOS - Bulakenyos planted one thousand trees, both fruit bearing and forest seedlings, earlier today at Brgy. Camachin in Don?a Remedios Trinidad in observance of the National Arbor Day celebration.

The activity dubbed as Arbor Day Tree Planting and Growing Activity was spearheaded by the Provincial Government of Bulacan through thr Bulacan Environment and Natural Resources Office.

More than a hundred Bulakenyos participated in the said activity wherein they planted assorted seedlings of guyabano, langka, lanzones, rambutan and narra.

For his message, Gov. Daniel R. Fernando highlighted the importance of cooperation and unity between the government and its people in terms of conserving the environment and natural resources.

Meanwhile, BENRO Division Head Atty. Julius Victor Degala emphasized the importance of trees in the people's survival.

Degala said.

Other participants who graced the event were the Dumagats, Homeowners Association of Pandi, PNP, MENRO representatives from the towns in Bulacan, and Barangay Captain Lowel Sembrano of Camachin and its residents. ###
