CITY OF MALOLOS- Bulacan Gov. Daniel R. Fernando commended the high-tech, modern and complete isolation facility initiated by Brother Eliseo Soriano, Daniel Razon and their members after witnessing the inauguration of the Members Church of God International or the MGCI-UNTV Health Facility at the MAB Building, Brgy. Tikay in this city, Monday morning to support the government in the fight against COVID-19.

“Salamat sa pakikipagtulungan, napakahalaga po nito dahil kulang talaga. Matagal ang 14 days ako nga nainip eh. Lumabas ang anxiety may panahong nade-depress kaya maganda itong facility na ‘to, hi-tech, parang hotel, malalabanan mo ‘yung inip, ‘di ka pa makakahawa sa inyo, safe ang pamilya mo habang kumportable kang nagpapagaling,” Fernando said.

Likewise, Mayor Gilbert Gatchalian shared the same feelings of being blessed for having concerned citizens help the government to heal as one.

Dr. Raymund D. Pesebre, head doctor in the said facility, also shared that the 54-bed capacity project which will be funded by the church and its members is open to serve the people for free.

“Ito po ay equipped with CCTV with monitor each room, may intercom, internet at sariling CR. All will be provided for sa mga dito magku-quarantine and we have nurses and in-house doctors, 24 hours,” Pesebre said.

Dr. Emily Paulino, representative of Dr. Cesar C. Cassion, regional director of Department of Health-RO3, said that this is the first facility that is run by an NGO.

“With 3.6 population of Bulacan we need 1,140 beds or one facility per 25,000 population kaya nagpapasalamat tayo sa MGCI, and we encourage them na magpa-accredit sa PhilHealth para kahit papaano may babalik sa kanila to sustain the facility,” Paulino said.

During the program, Paulino on behalf of the DOH awarded the Certification for COVID-19 cases to Dr. Pesebre. ###
