CITY OF MALOLOS- Starting tomorrow, March 15, 2020, President Rodrigo Duterte placed the National Capital Region under “Community Quarantine”.

In line with this, Governor Daniel R. Fernando recommended as a local precautionary measure to have a Provincial Quarantine Facility in Bulacan for Persons under Monitoring or PUMs or the people who have history of travel or history of exposure but shows no signs and symptoms.

The governor said that the facility is one way of preventing their family members from exposure to COVID-19.

In addition, there will be assigned health workers that will exclusively monitor the PUMs and a marked vehicle will be allotted to fetch them from and to the proposed optional quarantine area.

He further stressed the importance of social distancing, and proper and frequent hand washing.

Moreover, the governor appealed to the public to stop sharing fake news and be mindful of the well being of others, too.

In addition, the provincial chief executive reiterated to the public to get information from the official Facebook accounts of the Provincial Government of Bulacan, Bulacan Provincial Health Office, and official Facebook and Twitter account of the Department of Health, which is the OfficalDOHgov and their official website, doh.gov.ph.

Meanwhile, according to the Provincial Health Office-Public Health, as of yesterday, March 13, 2020, at 4pm, there are 13 persons under investigation (PUI).
