Fernando to lead relief goods distribution

CITY OF MALOLOS – The Provincial Government of Bulacan headed by Governor Daniel R. Fernando through the Provincial Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office, Provincial Social Welfare and Development Office and Damayang Filipino Movement Foundation, Inc. will conduct a relief operation to supplement the basic needs of Bulakenyos.
Accordingly, the relief operation and repacking will start on Monday with 120,000 food packs for the members of 4Ps (Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program) and other indigent Bulakenyos, 50 cavans of rice for the 24 cities and municipalities in the province and 5 cavans of rice for the 569 Sanguniang Barangays.
Fernando also said that the PGB is striving to provide what the people needs and thanked those who send donations to PGB to help other Bulakenyos.
“Alam naman din po natin na apektado ang lahat. Halos lahat po ay hindi nakakapag trabaho pero pinagsusumikapan po natin na masusutentuhan at matugunan lahat ang pangangailangan at siyempre, tulung-tulong po tayong lahat. Sa mga nagdo-donate po at nagbibigay ng suporta, maraming maraming salamat din po. May mga dumadating po tayo ditong mga donations. So thank you so much po sa inyong lahat at God bless po,” Fernando said.
Aside from that, the PGB through the Damayang Filipino Movement Foundation, Inc. are continuously distributing bottles of alcohol and face masks in each barangay.
As of March 19, 2020, Fernando signed the memorandum stating that the Province of Bulacan will implement a province-wide curfew from 8:00pm to 5:00 am.
