Fernando supports implementation of tactical motorcycle riding unit

CITY OF MALOLOS – Bulacan Governor Daniel R. Fernando is one with the Bulacan Provincial Police Office’s (BPPO) aim to reinforce its anti-crime campaign in the province.

Fernando congratulated the BPPO headed by OIC PCol. Relly B. Arnedo during the activation of Tactical Motorcycle Riding Unit (TMRU) program held at the grounds of Camp General Alejo S. Santos in this city recently.

The governor said that said program will improve the police’s ability to immediately respond to street crimes in a high-speed tactical manner while crippling the capabilities of motorcycle-riding offenders.

“This is the fastest way to fight criminalities and to achieve peace and order in the community. Through this, riding in tandem will no longer be able to escape freely because our police force will surely pursue them,” Fernando said.

He also said that two additional vehicles from the Provincial Government of Bulacan are on the way, one van and one SUV. ###
