CITY OF MALOLOS – Elected officials in the Province of Bulacan will take their oath of office on June 28, 2019, 8 am at the Bulacan Capitol Gymnasium here.
Executive Judge Olivia V. Escubio-Samar will preside the oathtaking of elected officials in the provincial, congressional and district levels while Governor-elect Daniel R. Fernando will lead the mass oathtaking of voted officials in the three cities and 21 towns of Bulacan.
With a theme “Dedikasyon at Aksyon sa Panunungkulan para sa Dakilang Lalawigan”, the activity will start with a holy mass and followed by the processional march of the elected officials and mass oathtaking.
Prior the mass oathtaking, the former governor will do the ceremonial turnover of the provincial flag, seal and keys to the new governor.
“It is better to serve than to be served. Ipamalas natin sa mga Bulakenyong nagtiwala at nagkaloob ng kanilang mandato na sila ay pamunuan na hindi nasayang ang kanilang pagtitiwala. Tayo ay magkakaisa at patuloy na magkakaloob ng mataas na antas ng serbisyo anuman ang ating posisyon sa gobyerno,” outgoing governor and Vice Governor-elect Wilhelmino M. Sy-Alvarado said.
