CITY OF MALOLOS- Bulakenyos will be filled with new knowledge on poultry animals and their eyes will feast on the beauty of fancy pigeons and chickens on the second year of the Bulacan Poultry Show on September 14, 2019, 8 am, in front of the Hiyas ng Bulacan Sentrong Pangkultura in this city.
Participants will gather new learnings on the two free seminars including Profitable Quail Raising by Denrick Alcaraz and Rabbit Raising by Artemio Veneracion that will discuss the process on raising rabbits, quails and ducks for their meat and profit from them.
Participants will also be educated on how to take care of poultry animals so they could be free from sickness and safe for human consumption.
Also, not only fancy pigeons and fancy chickens will be available for viewing in the exhibits because exotic animals will also be available for the Bulakenyos to amaze their eyes into.
Governor Daniel R. Fernando persuades Bulakenyos to take interest on poultry animals as a means of livelihood because it is an expanding industry.
“Patuloy na lumalaki ang industriya ng paghahayupan sa ating lalawigan. Marami na ang nakadiskubre na ang mga rabbit pala ay maaaring makipagsabayan sa manok at pwede ipamalit sa ating mga hapag-kainan kaya kailangan nating punuin ng kaalaman ang ating sarili upang sa gayon ay mapakinabangan natin ito ngayon at sa mga susunod na panahon,” Fernando said.
The Bulacan Poultry Show is a program of the Provincial Government of Bulacan through the Provincial Veterinary Office in partnership with the poultry and livestock companies in the province.
It is part of the weeklong celebration of Singkaban Festival 2019 with the theme, “Sining at Kalinangang Bulakenyo, Dangal ng Filipino”.
