Bulakenyos experience a day of public service and entertainment

CITY OF MALOLOS – Indeed, Bulakenyos became the lead stars as they experience a day of public service and entertainment during the “Bida Kapamilya sa Bulacan” last September 8, 2018 at the Bulacan Capitol Gymnasium and The Pavilion in Hiyas ng Bulacan Convention Center here.

With more than 600 beneficiaries of the medical mission sponsored by ABS-CBN Channel 2 and the Provincial Government of Bulacan, Gov. Wilhelmino M. Sy-Alvarado expressed his gratitude to the ‘Kapamilya’ but mostly to the Lord for the blessings.

“Marami tayong dapat ipagpasalamat. Ang Kapamilya ay hindi lamang natin katuwang sa paghahatid ng balita kung may bagyo, sakuna, katulong din natin sila kung may kalamidad. Simulan natin ang linggong ito na puno ng pasasalamat para sa mga biyaya at pagsubok na nagpapatibay sa atin na harapin pa ang mga hamon ng buhay,” Alvarado said.

Vice Gov. Daniel R. Fernando for his part said that it is once again the season of celebrating the rich culture and history of the province and invited everyone to join and witness every event that the province has prepared for the Bulakenyos.

“Ito ay muling nagpapaalala sa atin ng diwa ng ating pagiging Bulakenyo, sama-sama nating pahalagahan ang lipunang pinanday ng maraming magigiting na karanasan, masaya nating kilalanin ang makulay na kultura, itanghal ang mga talento mula sa liping tanyag ang sining, musika at panitikan. Salamat sa ABS-CBN sa pagbibigay ng pagkakataon upang maghandog ng kasiyahan at paglilingkod sa Bulacan,” Fernando shared.

Bernadette Sembrano, TV Patrol news anchor, thanked the Bulakenyos for the warm welcome and support.

“Ngayon po ay babaha ng kasiyahan, ng pagmamahal mula sa ABS-CBN, tandaan po ninyo, mahal po kayo ng Kapamilya at kayo po ang bida sa puso namin,” Sembrano said.

Also present during the medical mission were Gus Abelgas of the Scene of the Crime Operatives (SOCO), Its Showtime Tawag ng Tanghalan winners and Team YEY child stars.

Moreover, the entertainment continued until the evening as the Ang Probinsyano cast led by Coco Martin, Halik cast represented by Yam Concepcion and Araw Gabi cast led by JM De Guzman wowed the crowd with their performances and exciting games.

Bulakenyos also had the chance to enjoy discounts and promos on different booths including ABS-CBN Store/Licensing, TV Plus, Jeepney TV, Sky Cable, and TESDA Services.
