CITY OF MALOLOS – Over 28 Bulakenyo artists from Bahaghari Art Group all over Bulacan are invited to display their works of art at the Singkaban Art Exhibit 2019 with the theme “Kulay ng Bahaghari”, which will run from September 9-13, 2019, 10 am at the Hiyas ng Bulacan Museum here.
Senator Cynthia Villar will lead the ribbon cutting ceremony along with Governor Daniel R. Fernando to formally open the exhibit.
The first day of exhibit will be exclusive to Bahaghari Art Group members while the next remaining days of the show will be open to all artists.
As a way of supporting the artists, they are allowed to display their other art pieces during the exhibit so that they may be able to sell them to interested art buyers.
Governor Daniel R. Fernando encourages all Bulakenyo artists to showcase their artwork and to continue honing their talent.
“Bukas po ang ating art exhibit sa lahat ng Bulakenyo artists sa ating lalawigan. Itinaon po natin ito kasabay ng pagdiriwang ng Singkaban Festival upang mas maraming mga turista mula sa loob at labas ng probinsiya ang makamalas sa husay ng mga Bulakenyo sa larangan ng sining,” Fernando said.
The art exhibit is part of the activities included in the weeklong celebration of Singkaban Festival 2019 with the theme “Sining at Kalinangan ng Bulakenyo, Dangal ng Filipino”.
