Bulakenyo angels to show off their talents on Singkaban Festival 2019

CITY OF MALOLOS – Children from 30 charitable institutions in the province will display their talents for the “Showcase of Talents ng mga Anghel sa mga Institusyon” activity of the Provincial Government of Bulacan through the Provincial Social Welfare and Development Office on September 13, 2019, 12 noon at the Bulacan Capitol Gymnasium in this city.

The said activity aims to develop the capabilities and skills of these angels and give them the chance to show it off in front of the crowd.
According to PSWDO Head Rowena Joson-Tiongson, up to 20 children from each community and/or residential orphanages will be invited to participate and enjoy the activity.

Governor Daniel R. Fernando said that every Bulakenyo has a special place and role in the development of the community and the said youngsters are no exception to that.

“Sana kahit dito maipadama natin sa mga bata na may karapatan silang maglibang, maging masaya at maipahayag ‘yung mga sarili nila. Hindi sila dapat malungkot dahil tulad ng iba, may mahalaga rin silang puwang at gampanin sa lipunan,” Fernando said.

Also, DSWD Regional Director Marites M. Maristela is expected to grace the event as the guest speaker.
