Bulacan to join the nation in the observance of National Flag Day and National Heritage Month
CITY OF MALOLOS – The Provincial Government of Bulacan through the Provincial History, Arts, Culture and Tourism Office will lead the Bulakenyos in commemorating the National Flag Day and National Heritage Month this month in a joint program on May 28, 2022, 8:00 AM at the Bulacan Sentrong Pangkultura, Antonio S. Bautista Bulacan Provincial Capitol Compound here.
The program will start with a flag raising ceremony and wreath laying activity before the monument of Gat Marcelo H. del Pilar and will be followed by a ribbon cutting ceremony at the Guillermo Tolentino Exhibit Hall, Hiyas ng Bulacan Cultural Center for its 50th Anniversary exhibit.
For the final part, a program will also be held at the Nicanor Abelardo Auditorium for the showing of the SINEliksik Bulacan Docu Special: “Ako ang Hiyas ng Bulacan Cultural Center”; launching of the “Pasyal Kultura sa Bulacan” Web Magazine and SHINE Bulacan Web Magazine which will be spearheaded by Dr. Sylvia Joaquin, vice chairman of SHINE Bulacan project.
Re-elected Bulacan Governor Daniel R. Fernando will also grace the program to give his message along with the other guests including Vicente “Bong” Enriquez, president of the Women of Malolos Foundation, Inc.; Dr. Cecilia Gascon of Bulacan State University and Atty. Lilly Freida C. Macabangun-Milla of Commission on Higher Education.
