Bulacan to conduct free skills training and recruitment activities for Bulakenyo jobseekers

CITY OF MALOLOS – As part of the weeklong celebration of Singkaban Festival, Bulakenyo jobseekers are encouraged to take advantage of the ‘Online Local Recruitment Activity’ on September 8-10, 2021 and ‘Online Kabuhayan Fair’ on September 13-15, 2021 by the Provincial Youth, Sports and Public Employment Service Office which are posted and will be streamed online through the Provincial PESO Bulacan Facebook page.

With this year’s Singkaban theme “Paglingon. Paghilom. Pagbangon.”, the program aims to provide various job vacancies to Bulakenyos and open new opportunities for those who wanted to start their own microbusiness and livelihood which in turn will benefit the participating employers who are looking for qualified employees.

According to PYSPESO Head Atty. Kenneth Z. Ocampo-Lantin, the virtual recruitment process will be conducted through; hence jobseekers must create their own account and pre-register on the registration link posted on their official Facebook page.

Further, the Local Recruitment Activity includes job vacancies such as salesman; distributor specialist; industrial engineer; electrical engineer; repacker (200); production helper (100); machine operator (50); customer service representative (200); technical support representative (200); CS/sales representative (200); tech/sales representative (200); audit staff; accounting staff; quality assurance staff; checker; warehouseman; truck drivers; truck helpers; picker/loader and many more.

A Pre-Employment Orientation Webinar is also streaming today at 1:00 PM via Facebook live to discuss learning, literacy, and life skills to prepare and guide the participants in becoming employment-ready.

On the other hand, the Kabuhayan Fair Online Streaming will feature timely free skills training including make-up tutorial, hair-cutting and nail-art training; alcohol/sanitizer making; dishwashing and fabric conditioner making; essential oil making; coffee/latte art; kimchi making; and charcuterie/grazing board preparation.

Meanwhile, Fernando urges the Bulakenyos to grab the opportunities while there is a chance for them to further expand their skills and experience.

“Nais po ng programang ito na tulungang ang mga Bulakenyong naghahanap ng pagkakakitaan at trabaho lalo ngayong panahon ng pandemya kung saan marami sa ating kalalawigan ang nawalan ng trabaho. Sana po ay huwag na ninyong palampasin ang mga oportunidad dahil siguradong makatutulong ito sa inyo lalo’t napapanahon din ang mga inihandang skills training at napakarami rin po ng job vacancies na naghihintay sa inyo,” the governor said. ###
