CITY OF MALOLOS – Rendering public service to Bulakenyos through ‘Kapitolyo sa Barangay’ is the Provincial Government of Bulacan’s way of celebrating the upcoming 72nd birthday of President Rodrigo Roa Duterte.
Led by Gov. Wilhelmino M. Sy-Alvarado and Vice Gov. Daniel R. Fernando, the KSB event dubbed as “Alagang Kalusugan Medical Mission” is set to offer free medical and dental services, free ECG and X-ray and distribution of free medical assistive devices and medicines to underprivileged Bulakenyos on March 28, 2017 at the Bulacan Medical Center in this city from 8 am to 12 noon.
The medical mission will also provide free haircut services and massage (reflexology). The KSB will also provide burial assistance.
According to Catherine Inocencio, assistant department head for the Special Projects Division of the Provincial Administrator’s Office, the medical mission will take place at the BMC in order to provide further medical assistance to Bulakenyos since they will have more access to different medical facilities and equipment that they might need in the mission.
“Ito ay talagang ginagawa sa mga barangay para mas malapit sa mga kalalawigan natin talaga, pero sa pagkakataon na ‘to, ginawa natin sa mismong BMC para sa mas malawak na serbisyo, ito ay KSB na pinalawak, mas maraming maa-avail na serbisyo, mas maraming makikinabang,” Innocencio said.
In its continuous efforts to bring the said services closer to every Bulakenyo, Innocencio said that the PGB through the KSB program has visited the 569 barangays in the three cities and 21 towns in the province since its launched in 2010.
