Bulacan reports 3 recovered COVID-19 patients
CITY OF MALOLOS – Bulacan Governor Daniel R. Fernando announced a total of three recovered Corona Virus Disease 2019 (COVID-19) patients who have previously tested positive and now tested negative RT-PCR twice as per the World Health Organization requirement.
These recoveries according to the Provincial Health Office-Public Health were identified as PH152, a 40 year old male from Baliwag who came out as Mayor Ferdie Estrella, PH21 a 58 year old female from City of San Jose del Monte, and PH413, a 31 year old female from Bulakan.
According to the record, Ph152 got his confirmation test in March 16 and recovered in March 29; PH21’s confirmation test dated March 9 and recovered in April 6; and finally PH413 was confirmed COVID-19 positive in March 22 and recovered March 28.
They were already discharged from St. Lukes Medical Center BGC, Dr. Jose N. Rodriguez Memorial Hospital and Makati Medical Center respectively.
Mayor Estrella shared in his facebook account his experience the moment he felt ill, until he tested positive, the fear of being intubated up to the time he came home to his family alive although still undergoing the 14 day quarantine.
He is grateful to the frontliners and all the prayers and well wishes that made him strong during his confinement.
Dr. Jocelyn Gomez, PHO-PH head said that aside from the three recoveries, there are 15 other patients who have clinically improved, still under quarantine and waiting for their test results to be negative.
“Inaasahan natin na mas marami pang magrerecover kasi sa confirmed patients natin marami ang clinically nag-iimprove,” Gomez shared.
As of 4 pm yesterday, Bulacan Covid-19 Surveillance Team updated 60 confirmed COVID-19 patients, 14 deaths and 596 active patients under investigation.
