Bulacan Provincial Agriculturist wins Outstanding Agricultural Extension Manager at 51st Gawad Saka

CITY OF MALOLOS – The Provincial Government of Bulacan once again proudly celebrates another milestone as Provincial Agriculturist Ma. Gloria SF. Carrillo was recognized as the 51st Gawad Saka Outstanding Agricultural Extension Manager (Provincial Level) – National Winner by the Department of Agriculture during the 51st Gawad Saka Awarding Ceremony that was held at the Philippine International Convention Center (PICC) in Pasay City, Metro Manila on June 29.

Considered as one of the highest honors awarded by the Department of Agriculture, the national recognition, reflects Carrillo’s years of dedicated service and commitment to improving the lives of Bulakenyo farmers and fisherfolks.

Governor Daniel R. Fernando extended his heartfelt congratulations to Carrillo for bringing honor not only to the Provincial Government but also to the entire province of Bulacan through her remarkable achievement.

“Lubos po naming ipinagmamalaki ang tagumpay na ito. Testamento po ang prestihiyosong pagkilalang ito ng patuloy na dedikasyon, husay, at taos-pusong pagmamalasakit sa paglilingkod sa ating mga magsasaka at mangingisda. Patuloy pong nagbibigay-inspirasyon ang inyong pamumuno sa mahusay na paglilingkod sa bayan at sumasalamin din ito sa ating iisang hangarin na makabuo nang mas matibay at may katiyakang seguridad sa pagkain sa Bulacan,” the governor said.

Under Carrillo’s leadership, the Provincial Agriculture Office has continuously implemented various programs that strengthen the agricultural productivity and improve the welfare of Bulakenyo farmers and fisherfolk.

The Gawad Saka is a prestigious awarding program that recognizes the unwavering dedication of Filipino farmers, fisherfolk, institutions, scientists, and researchers who continue to advance the country’s agricultural development. ###
