Bulacan PESO launches Virtual Career Expo 2020

CITY OF MALOLOS- To provide online job advertisement platform for Bulakenyo job seekers, the Provincial Government of Bulacan through the Provincial Youth, Sports and Public Employment Service Office (PYSPESO) in collaboration with Jobs180.com recently launched the Virtual Career Expo 2020 last October 23, 2020.

The career expo dubbed as “TRABAHO. NEGOSYO. KABUHAYAN: Trabaho para sa Bulakenyo, Hatid ng Provincial PESO – offers over a thousand job vacancies from 100 companies and will run until the end of this year.

Governor Daniel R. Fernando invites all Bulakenyos to continually participate in this timely program and grab the opportunity of applying for jobs while being safe and healthy at home.

“Pangako ko na maialay ang bunga ng kaunlaran sa hapag ng bawat Bulakenyo sa pamamagitan ng pagkakaroon ng oportunidad sa trabaho, negosyo, at kabuhayan para sa ating mamamayang Bulakenyo. Hindi po kayang tuldukan ng COVID-19 ang ating pangarap na ito. Tayo ay magpapanibagong lakas at inspirasyon upang harapin ang mga hamon ng ating panahon” the governor said.

He also mentioned that the whole employment process from pre-employment orientation to submitting resume to screening and interviews are all done virtually.

Moreover, PYSPESO conducted Pre-Employment Orientation (PEO) Webinar last October 23, 2020 as part of the official launching of the Virtual Career Expo with topics including Effective Resume Writing Tips, Interview in the New Normal, Job Hunting, and Employer-Employee Engagement.

For the second session of the 3-part PEO Webinars, the topics were After Graduation Checklist, Developing your Communication Skills, Gender Equality in the Workplace and Motivation and Productivity held last October 29, 2020.
