CITY OF MALOLOS – Bulacan Gov. Daniel R. Fernando recently inspected the quarantine facility allotted for Overseas Filipino Workers (OFWs) and is now ready to take in patients.
Fernando, in order to help fasten the procedure of uniting the OFW families, decided to install and designate a quarantine facility at the College of Social Science and Philosophy Building in Bulacan State University-Main Campus in this city with 11 rooms and 88-bed capacity.
The governor clarified that the facility is intended to help the modern day heroes and not to double or prolong their misery.
Dr. Jocelyn Gomez, head of the Incident Command Post Team, also explained that after testing negative from the PCR test conducted at the airport or in any designated venue, and has all the documents ready including the certificate of negative PCR test result, he or she will still need to undergo home quarantine for 14 days as per the Department of the Interior and Local Government guidelines.
Kung wala pa rin, sa facility ng province pupunta and it is a requirement,” Gomez clarified.
Meanwhile, at present Bulacan has 185 confirmed COVID-19 patients, 85 have recovered while 31 died.
