During the launching of Environment Month this morning, Arch. Noel K. Vitug, a speaker from Eco- Asia Research Institute, discussed the importance of having a clean, green and healthy environment and how people can do their share in protecting the environment by simply managing their garbage properly.
“The circle of love is what life is all about. When you throw a candy wrapper or paper inside your school campus or mix a plastic bag with potato peelings, you are putting them in the wrong place and keeping them out of the circle, but when you put them in the proper container you are helping them return to the circle,” Vitug said.
He also underscored who is in charge on everything and said, “science and technology have brought us so much material progress in such an easy lifestyle that we sometimes forget that we are not in charge of the universe. Everything is God’s gift to us all, an expression of His love, to share with others, and to return it to him. Let us unite for the clean and green environment, discipline is the solution to our waste”.
