CITY OF MALOLOS – Taking part as the nation observes Linggo ng Kabataan 2022, The Provincial Government of Bulacan through the Provincial Youth, Sports and Public Employment Service Office had prepared a weeklong activity for the young Bulakenyo leaders aged between 13 to 17 who are among the Boy/Girl Officials 2022 for them to have experiential learning associated with good governance and leadership.

Bulacan Governor Daniel R. Fernando led the selected Boy/Girl officials in taking their oath of office as young counterparts of the elected officials and department heads of PGB during the ‘Pagsasalin ng Tungkulin sa mga Boy/Girl Officials 2022’ held coinciding the Monday Flag Ceremony at the Bulacan Capitol Gymnasium here.

Headed by Boy Governor Jhon Ken Landayan of Guiguinto Vocational High School and Boy Vice Governor Mark Joshua Carreon of San Roque National High School, the 61 Boy/Girl Officials in the provincial level attended a whole day of jampacked activities including Tree Planting, Leadership Training, Disaster Preparedness, and Basic Survival Skills and Swimming at the Bulacan Sports Complex last Tuesday.

They also visited some of the PGB offices for further learning including the Provincial Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office, Pasalubong Center and the Hiyas ng Bulacan Museum and had lunch with the governor at the Guillermo Tolentino Exhibit Hall, Capitol Compound last Wednesday.

In his message, Boy Governor Landayan encouraged his fellow young Bulakenyos to prove that the youth can also contribute to the betterment of society.

Fernando also said that as the governor, he wanted to inspire the young leaders to continue with their good intentions and commended them for their initiative to serve the community.

To conclude the celebration, PYSPESO conducted a recognition program for the Boy/Girl Officials at the Nicanor Abelardo Auditorium here today.
