Bulacan is now under alert level 2
CITY OF MALOLOS- Bulacan is now placed under Alert Level 2 as per the Inter-Agency Task Force for the Management of Emerging Infectious Diseases (IATF-EID) guidelines.
“Napababa na po natin ang mga kaso, nasa low risk na po tayo. Nasa 26 na lamang ang ating positivity rate. Ang ating average daily attack rate ay nasa 4 cases out of 100,000 population. Kung noon nasa mahigit 4,000 ang active cases, ngayon nasa 1,000 na lamang kaya naman ang lalawigan ng Bulacan ay nilagay sa alert level 2 mula November 1-14. Tayo ay pinapayagan sa isang malaking pagluwag,” Fernando said.
The said new alert level scheme replaces the previous quarantine classifications namely Enhanced Community Quarantine, Modified Enhanced Community Quarantine, General Community Quarantine and Modified General Community Quarantine.
As stated in the governor’s Executive Order No. 43, venues for meetings and social events, tourist areas, amusement parks, recreational venues such as swimming pools and internet cafes, movie houses; religious gatherings; examinations; dine-in services; personal care establishments; fitness studios; contact sports; venues with live performers like bars and concert halls shall be allowed to operate up to 50 percent indoor venue capacity and 70 percent outdoor capacity.
Also, said establishments will be allowed to operate provided that all workers are fully vaccinated and will also accept those below 18 years old even if unvaccinated if they are accompanied by fully vaccinated guardians.
Moreover, casinos, horse racing, cockfighting and operation of cockpits, lottery and betting shops, and other gaming establishments shall not be allowed to operate except as maybe authorized by the IATF or Office of The President.
Further, no face-to-face classes shall be allowed yet in the province of Bulacan until the pupils and students are fully vaccinated.
“Ako po ay maninindigan, from preschool to high school, K-12, walang paaralan ang maaaring magsagawa ng face to face classes hangga’t ang mga empleyado at estudyante ay mabakunahan kahit man lamang 70 percent ng population, para sa higher learning at TESDA, at mga review center, maaaring pahintulutan ang limited face-to-face subject to approval of the governor bago ang pagbubukas ng klase, sasailalim din po ‘yan sa pagsusuri at maaaring baguhin anumang oras ng Office of The President,” Fernando explained.
The governor also announced that starting next week, the registration and vaccination of children with comorbidity ages 12-17 will begin.
He stressed that it is necessary to continue following the mandatory observance of minimum public health standards and curfew hours from 11 pm to 4 am.
“Ang mahalaga ay ang unti-unting pagbabalik sa normal, ang ating kaligtasan at kabutihan ng bawat Bulakenyo,” Fernando said. ###
