BULACAN HONORS BULAKENYO ATHLETES WHO PARTICIPATED AND WON MEDALS AT THE SEA GAMES

CITY OF MALOLOS- During the Monday Flag Raising Ceremony at the Bulacan Capitol Gymnasium in this city yesterday, Gov. Daniel R. Fernando led the recognition of Bulakenyo youths who participated and bagged medals at the 30th Southeast Asian (SEA) Games held in the country from November 30 until December 11, 2019.

Among the gold medal recipients include Desiree Ramos Autor from Santa Maria – Sepak Takraw; Jayson Rafael Torculas of Mariao – MLBB Team Sibol; Rogen Ladon Oly of Marilao – Boxing; Dean Michael Roxas from Bocaue – Jiu-Jitsu; Danica Therese Jose from Bocaue – Women’s Basketball; Jack Danielle Animam of the City of Malolos – 3×3 & 5v5; Fernando Casares of Bulakan – Triathlon Mixed Relay Event; and Afril Bernardino from Calumpit – Basketball 3×3 & 5v5.

Also, Catherine Pareña Secopito from the City of San Jose Del Monte was recognized for bagging the silver medal for Chess – Women’s Problem Solving.

Furthermore, athletes who brought home bronze medals were also recognized including Jamie I. Viceo V of San Rafael – Fencing; Jaron Requinton from Santa Maria – Beach Volleyball; Reymond Alferos of the City of Malolos – 4x400m Mixed Gender Relay; and Cristine Grace Hipol of Bocaue – Team Water Polo.

Aside from the certificate of recognition, the winners also received P10,000 from the Provincial Government of Bulacan.###
