CITY OF MALOLOS – Gov. Wilhelmino M. Sy-Alvarado led the inauguration of the newly renovated and constructed building at the Baliuag District Hospital in Carpa Village, Sabang, Baliwag, Bulacan, Thursday morning.
“What we did today is a witness of our accomplishments, at ito ay dapat nating ikarangal, pero sana mapanatili natin ang kaayusan at kalinisan at higit sa lahat yung serbisyo ng may ngiti at malasakit, iyon ang mahalaga, yung mga taong pinagseserbisyuhan natin. At naniniwala akong ito rin ang makikita natin sa iba pang district hospitals sa Bulacan” Alvarado said.
The governor also shared some improvements in the Bulacan Medical Center that all Bulakenyos will benefit including the on-going construction of the 250 bed capacity extension and the Malasakit Center.
“May P10 milyon na iniwan sa Malasakit Center natin ang pangulo, gamitin po natin para wala ng bayaran ang mga mahihirap nating kababayan. Ours is a public hospital for public service, at itong pondo na ito ay irereplenish kapag naubos,” Alvarado added.
Dr. Angelito Trinidad, BDH chief of hospital shared that from having a 60 bed capacity medical ward, they now increased to 120 beds with the help of the Department of Health Facility Enhancement.
“Fully airconditioned na lahat ng rooms dito, magiging komportable na lalo na ngayong panahon ng tag-init. Ang ating OPD, consultation at waiting area ay airconditioned na din, may 2 units tayong x-ray na computerized na, makabagong ultrasound machine from DOH din. Malaking tulong para di na magbayad ng mahal yung mga kababayan natin,” Dr. Trinidad said.
Also present to witness the inauguration were Cong. Lorna Silverio, 3rd district, Atty. Ramon Posadas, former board member, John Robert Carreon, DOH representative, Dr. Protacio Bajao, BMC chief of hospital, Dr. Marietta Katipunan, Calumpit District Hospital chief of hospital and Dr. Eduardo Valencia, former BDH chief of hospital.
The blessing and inauguration were held after the Holy Mass.
