With the theme, “Pamilya at Pamayanang Handa, Katuwang sa Pag-unlad ng Bansa,” 21 municipalities and three cities in the province competed in various activities including first aid, water safety and fire suppression that aimed to test their readiness and competence in responding to disaster and emergency situations.

The governor also said that the activity is a great opportunity for the LGUs to discuss coordination with each local unit in case of any disaster and emergency and congratulated the winners of the Rescuelympics.
