CITY OF MALOLOS- The Province of Bulacan has administered a total of 5,240,671 doses of COVID-19 vaccine including first and second doses, single doses, and booster shots as of April 17, 2022.
According to covid19updates.bulacan.gov.ph website, 2,281,195 Bulakenyos are already fully vaccinated while 2,418,385 received their 1st dose.
The fully vaccinated Bulakenyos constituted 75.68% of the 3,014,027 or 80% of Bulacan’s population as of 2022.
In addition, the province has inoculated 541,091 individuals for their booster or additional doses.
Governor Daniel R. Fernando continues to remind his constituents to never let their guard down as COVID is still present and there are still people who catches the virus.
“Hindi po ibig sabihin na mababa na ang ating mga kaso ng COVID ay tuluyan na po natin itong natalo. Maaaring maluwag po ang mga restriksyon sa ngayon ngunit babalik tayo sa paghihigpit na naranasan natin noong nakalipas na dalawang taon kung hindi tayo mag-iingat. Kaya naman po, ang hiling ko sa inyo ay lubusan pa rin po tayong mag-ingat, patuloy na magsuot ng face masks at sundin ang minimum health protocols upang tuluy-tuloy na ang ating maging tagumpay laban sa pandemya,” the governor said.
The province has been under Alert Level 1 since March 1, 2022.
Meanwhile, Provincial Health Office-Public Health reported 4 additional COVID cases last April 18, 2022 totaling the number of active cases to 56.
Since the pandemic started, Bulacan recorded a total of 109,360 total verified COVID-19 cases, 107,627 recoveries, and 1,677 deaths. ###
