Alvarado to continue leading Bulacan to inclusive growth and development

THIRD-TERMER GOVERNOR. Gov. Wilhelmino M. Sy-Alvarado takes his oath of office before Judge Albert Fonacier as the 31st Governor of Bulacan together with his wife, former Congressman Ma. Victoria Sy-Alvarado and their children during the “Sabayang Panunumpa sa Tungkulin ng mga Bagong Halal na Opisyal sa Lalawigan ng Bulacan” held at the Capitol Gymnasium, City of Malolos this morning.

CITY OF MALOLOS – Bulacan will continue to achieve a more sustainable and progressive development as Governor-elect Wilhelmino M. Sy-Alvarado vowed to continuously lead the province to greater heights with the help and cooperation of the newly-elected local officials and unified support of the Bulakenyos.

The third-termer governor expressed his gratitude for the additional opportunity to serve Bulacan after he swore his oath of office before Executive Judge Albert Fonacier during the “Sabayang Panunumpa sa Tungkulin ng mga Bagong Halal na Opisyal sa Lalawigan ng Bulacan” with the theme, “Mapanagutang Pamamahala: Susi sa Maunlad at Nagkakaisang Bulacan” held in Bulacan Capitol Gymnasium in this city, early this morning.

“Isa pong malaking karangalan na muling tanggapin ang inyong pagtitiwala at nais ko pong muling hingin ang inyong pakikiisa sa mga programa at proyekto ng Pamahalaang Panlalawigan para sa ikabubuti ng Bulacan. Ang pag-angat at patuloy na pagbuti ng kalagayan ng ating lalawigan ay isang gampaning hindi lamang iniatas sa mga halal na pinuno nito, bagkus ay naka-atang din sa balikat ng buong sambayanang nagkakaisa ng diwa at hangarin,” the governor said.

Alvarado also seized the opportunity and presented his accomplishments under his administration that are all anchored to his Seven-Point Agenda that prioritize pervasive development in the field of good governance, health, education, nature and environment, livelihood, peace and order, and history and culture.

The governor also enumerated the realization of the projects and programs that are designated for the benefit of the Bulakenyos including the Angat Dam and Dyke Strengthening Project, the Bulacan Bulk Water Supply, comprehensive flood control projects, dredging and rehabilitation of Marilao, Meycauayan and Obando River System, the MRT 7 and other infrastructure projects that will ensure jobs and employment for Bulakenyos.

Alvarado, who is also the chairman of the Regional Development Council in Central Luzon, also added the near realization of the Bulacan Technohub and Innovation Center, the creation of flood control facilities and access road for the industrial development.

He also expressed his full support to the administration of President Rodrigo Duterte, who vowed to ensure peace and security that will result to a progressive economy.

Meanwhile, the Provincial Government of Bulacan formally received its International Organization for Standardization (ISO) 9001-2008 Certification from TÜV Rheinland Philippines for its commendable provision of public service to the Bulakenyos.
