701 Bulakenyos benefit from Mobile Passport Service

CITY OF MALOLOS – Taking into consideration the growing demand for passport services, the “Mobile Passport Service” of the Provincial Government of Bulacan in cooperation with the Department of Foreign Affairs were able to service 701 passport applications held at the Bulacan Capitol Gymnasium here yesterday.
The annual passport application that has always been a part of the month-long celebration of Singkaban Festival aims to serve more Bulakenyos with ease and convenience.
Elizabeth Alonzo, head of the Provincial Youth, Sports, Employment and Development Office said that Gov. Wilhelmino M. Sy-Alvarado is yearly requesting the cooperation of DFA to assist the PGB in conducting this program because many Bulakenyos want to travel abroad either for work, education or leisure.
Mrs. Florencia Borlongan who wanted to renew her passport said that she has been looking forward to this opportunity because it’s hassle free.
Rose Ann Celso also expressed her gratitude for the service.
Their new and renewed passports will be delivered in their homes on or before October 7, 2017.
