CITY OF MALOLOS – A total of 531 Bulakenyos receive aids from the Provincial Government of Bulacan during the Awarding of Burial and Assistive Devices held at the Bulacan Capitol Gymnasium here recently.
Governor Daniel R. Fernando through Provincial Social Welfare and Development Officer Rowena J. Tiongson led the distribution of the following: P2,000 each burial assistance to 401 individuals; P1,500 financial assistance to one beneficiary; check worth P2,500 each for 40 beneficiaries of Self Employment Assistance and different assistive devices including nebulizer, blood pressure apparatus, glucometer and wheelchair to 39 individuals.
Meanwhile, 50 beneficiaries were given P3,000 each as food assistance courtesy of Patrol Party-List headed by Congressman Jorge “Patrol” Bustos.
Fernando said, “Ang pagkakaloob ng mga ayudang ito ay makatutulong ng malaki sa ating kapwa Bulakenyo lalo pa at di pa rin tayo tapos sa ating laban sa COVID-19. Asahan po ninyo na patuloy lamang ang Pamahalaang Panlalwigan sa paghahatid ng tulong lalo’t higit sa mga nangangailangan.”
The governor also reminded everyone to continuously observe and follow the minimum health standards being implemented such as wearing of face mask and face shield, washing of hands and social distancing, as well as staying at home except if necessary to be outside.
