Remembering the saying “Everything we do in ourselves dies with us, but what we do to others remains in his immortal,” Gov. Wilhelmino M. Sy-Alvarado believed that the heartfelt gratitude of the patient-beneficiaries will definitely bounce back to the volunteer doctors through overflowing blessings.

“In this modern period of science and technology, sila ang ginamit ng ating Panginoon upang sa pamamagitan nila ay maiabot ang pagmamahal at upang makatugon sa Kanyang utos na mahalin ang ating kapwa,” Alvarado added.

Moreover, Dr. Necita Roa, President of the PMA medical mission, claimed that it is the foundation’s pleasure to help the less fortunate. She also encouraged everybody to start lending a hand and feel the same way as they do.

“I’ve been doing this for a while now and this is one of the things in my life that gives me the greatest pleasure. It gives me a feeling of fulfillment,” said Dr. Roa.
