Our efforts for more effective fund management resulted to our ability to meet our contractual and statutory obligations on time. As a result of the following initiatives of the Administration, revenue collection increased by 25.5% higher.
Revision of Real Property Tax Assessment
Enactment of ordinance granting tax amnesty for penalties on delinquent real property tax
Organization of tax collection teams per district
Creation Auction Sale Committee for administrative remedies on delinquent taxes
Involvement of DEP. ED./youth sector in tax campaign ("Tax Troopers Core of Advocates")

As part of its campaign to re-energize the bureaucracy, the Administration has been granting numerous incentives to its employees which include among other things:

Enhanced Public Awareness
Several information materials were made to inform the general public of the development programs of the provincial government. Print designs moved up to a higher level by introducing fresh and new concepts in design and approach.
Six (6) new radio programs in Radyo Bulacan were launched to reach event the farthest residents of the northern parts of the province. This includes San Miguel, San Ildefonso, San Rafael, Baliuag and Bustos. Signals and networking were improved and a songfest was even conducted all for better listening pleasure of the audience.
Special provincial documentaries were shown in cable television and some in special gatherings.
Advocacy program of the Provincial Government thru news releases was given utmost importance during the period of 2003. These were also print advertisements placed in major dailies showcasing the Administration's accomplishments in the same period.
Media Relations was strengthened to create partnership and usher a culture or responsible information dissemination.
